‘The views, the hospitality, the decor and the
luxury... truly world
class’ |
With
thirteen acres to explore, Kahikatea offers many private spots to
relax. Enjoy the duckpond beside a rushing stream rimmed in tree ferns or a quiet bush walk where the only sounds heard are small waterfalls
nearby and the birdsong. Laze in a double hammock in a giant Macrocarpa tree. Wander through the garden paths on beautifully landscaped grounds
with English flower beds, exotics and native plantings. Or frolic with the doll-faced llamas that make up part of the enchantment of Kahikatea
and constitute a breeding and stud operation. Pet sheep
and goats complete the picture. For a more cerebral pastime, there is a
well-stocked library with over 1000 books. Other activities on the
Peninsula can also be arranged. Or you can just sit and gaze at the beauty, and dream. |
